Prerequisites Level 21+, Animal Companion or similar feature such as a cohort, eidolon, fiendish servant, phantom, special mount, etc.
Your companion is a paragon of its kind—a hero and legend in its own right. The companion gains one or more templates of your choice adding up to a +3 CR adjustment, so long as they are thematically appropriate. If you have multiple companions, you apply this only to the one with the most hit dice or all companions except that one (not including followers or hirelings).
