You have a +[TIER] competence bonus to Initiative, Perception, Stealth, and Survival rolls made within the selected terrain and to Lore rolls directly related to information unique to the terrain such as common wildlife and environmental phenomena.
You also ignore the first 2 spaces (10 feet)/TIER of difficult terrain created by natural forces and debris found within the selected terrain, each round you move.
