Selection Select a specific effect that is not a general or metatype.

Example specific types: Air, acid, bleed, bludgeoning, chaos, cold, darkness, disease, electricity, emotion, evil, fatigue, fire, flora, good, healing, law, light, mental, negative, piercing, poison, positive, precision, shadow, slashing, sleep, sonic, starvation, thirst.

Example general types: Abjuration, biomancy, chronomancy, conjuration, divination, enchantment, evocation, illusion, necromancy, transmutation.

Example metatypes: Attack, Augment, Basic, Buff, Common, Defense, Rare, Recovery, Uncommon, Unique.



You have a +(1/2 Tier) competence (insight) bonus to attack rolls, caster rolls, concentration rolls, DCs, saving throws, and skill rolls made as part of using a power with your selected type if you are proficient with the power (but not resisting it being used by others). Round up for caster rolls, concentration rolls, saving throws, and skill rolls, round down for attack rolls and DCs.
