Deception



The Deception skill encompasses a creature's ability to bluff, deceive, hoodwink, manipulate, swindle, or trick others either through mundane lies and disguises or through staged illusions. Skill uses include the following actions:
PF1e Conversion: Bluff and Disguise have been merged into this one skill. Bonuses to either previous skill apply only to certain uses of this skill. For example, a +2 racial bonus to Disguise checks becomes a +2 racial bonus to Deceptions checks made to create a disguise or impersonate someone.
