Death
Death is a type that can be applied to actions, areas, creatures, items, feats, powers, etc.
Action, Feat, or Power: Affected targets of a death effect are afflicted with a death curse for 1 minute. If they die or are destroyed within this time or are destroyed or killed by the death effect, they cannot be ressurected or repaired by any effect with an equal or lower tier than the death effect.
Area: Everything within the area is automatically afflicted with the death curse upon entering and again every round they remain as if affected by a death effect. The area itself has a tier of 1 unless noted otherwise.
Concept: Death as a concept in the Aether Spira campaign is a multi-layered thought that overlaps with "entropy" itself. The first layer of death is death of the body still leaves the immortal soul to wander the spirit realms seeking resurrection, reincarnation, or their eternal resting place. The second layer of death is the destruction of the soul, which is extremely rare but possible. The third layer of death is destruction of one's presence in an entire reality, wiping them from the timeline and the memory of that universe. The fourth layer of death is the unknowingness of something that has never existed and likely will never exist. To even speak of it would be to make it a concept that exists and therefore no longer beyond the first three layers of death.
Creature or Item: The creature or item is affiliated with death magic treating all death effects it's affected by as 1 tier lower and all death effects it uses as 1 tier higher. This doesn't stack with other effects that adjust tier.
