Damage Types
There are many damage types. Creatures with damage resistance reduce damage of the chosen type.
BIOLOGICAL
Bleed, disease, poison
BLEED
Bleed damage is caused by a creature bleeding out vital bodily fluids or losing sustenance that's not always blood. For example, a robotic creature might bleed out lubricants or wiring while a magical golem might bleed out magical crystals or liquid mana. Creatures might bleed out sustenance even without bleeding such as being forced to vomit, suffocate, starve, or deprived of sleep.
DISEASE
Disease damage is caused by bacteria, parasites, or viruses invading the body.
POISON
Poison damage is caused by toxins in the body, including radiation poisoning.

ELECTRICITY

FIRE
Fire damage is caused by burning temperatures.
SONIC
Sonic damage is caused by violent vibrations acting on a frequency that damages objects and creatures.
PHYSIOLOGICAL
Physical damage is obvious physical harm done to a creature or object.
CAUSTIC
Caustic damage is caused by corrosive chemical burns such as with a strong acid or base.
BLUDGEONING
Bludgeoning damage is caused by blunt force trauma.
PIERCING
Piercing damage is caused by deep gouges and wounds.
SLASHING
Slashing damage is caused by cuts and lacerations.
PSYCHOLOGICAL
Psychological damage directly target's a creature's mind or soul. Psychological damage can damage a target projecting its consciousness or possessing another creature even if the target's body is elsewhere. The possessed creature isn't harmed by the blast. Spirit damage doesn't harm creatures that have no spirit, such as constructs. M Mindless creatures and those with only programmed or rudimentary intelligence are often immune to psychological damage and effects.
ALIGNED
The four aligned damages directly harm the part of a creature's soul that is NOT aligned to it such as creating pure evil or radiating pure good. Creatures innately have minor resistance to their own alignment (for example, a Chaotic creature has minor resistance to Chaos damage). Creatures with a neutral alignment don't gain minor resistance to Neutral damage unless they are True Neutral.
MENTAL
Mental damage directly target's a creature's mind often causing amnesia, confusion, or psychosis in severe cases.
SPIRIT
Directly affecting the spiritual essence of a creature. Spirit damage is the same as aligned damage but damages creatures of any alignment in the same way.
CONVERSION
Force damage is removed from the game. Any effect that dealt force damage instead does half mental half physical (pick whichever one is most appropriate). Any effect that has untyped damage is assigned a damage type.
