Conditional Effects
Conditional effects can include conditional damage or afflictions which can be alleviated, worsened, or removed given conditions. Every conditional effect has a primary and secondary agitation and cure.
Meeting a primary cure automatically decreases the condition stage by 2 stages while the primary agitation does the reverse. Meeting a secondary cure automatically decreases the condition stage by 1 stage while a secondary agitation does the reverse.
If an effect has a secondary cure, it gains 1 adjustment and if it has a primary cure it gains 2 adjustments (3 for both). This assumes the cures are rare. If they are uncommon, they gain twice the normal adjustments and if they are common they gain triple the normal adjustments.
Conditional Damage
Conditional damage is cumulative (like nonlethal for 3e or pf1e) and cannot be removed until conditions are met. There are always primary and secondary cures. Unless noted otherwise, they are as follows:
Primary Cure: Full rest (8 hours) removes all the conditional damage.
Secondary Cure: Short rest (15 minutes max 1/2 hours) removes an amount of conditional damage equal to your level.
