Blindsense

Selection, Sensory

Cost: 2 XP/tier

Selection Select a type of sense that doesn't use sight such as aquatic sense, echolocation, scent, or tremorsense. Every form of blindsense functions in a non-visual way and has some weaknesses and quirks as noted below.

While within 2 spaces (10 feet) per tier of you, all creatures and objects are denied all circumstance, item, and magical bonuses to Stealth against your Perception rolls and DCs. This does not negate penalties nor deny them these bonuses against other creature's Perception rolls and DCs.

Blindsight (+1): Your blindsense is a precise sense but only out to half its normal range. This means a creature with blindsense (scent) can recognize individual creatures' scents as easily as humans recognize each other's faces, a creature with blindsense (tremorsense) can pinpoint a creature's exact location as easily a humans would see someone standing right in front of them, and so on and so forth.

Keen Search (+1): When you use the Search action, the range of your blindsense is doubled for 1 round.

Extra Selection (+1): Make one additional selection. The upgraded ability also applies to the new selection as well as your previous one. This upgrade can be applied multiple times, up to the maximum number of selection options.
