BARDIC MAGE
This archetype applies to the mage, battle mage, and war mage classes.
Requirements: Cha-based casting.
Losses:
- 2nd, 6th, 10th, 14th, and 18th level augments.
- Invocations require somatic and verbal components like spells.
Gains:
- 2nd-level - Bardic Performance (Fascinate) as a bard of the same level.
- At 6th, 10th, 14th, and 18th level, you must select Bardic Knowledge, Jack of all Trades, Lore Master, Versatile Performance, or a Bardic Performance in place of an Augment but no sooner than the level the Bard normally gains them. You can use your other augments to gain more of these abilities as well. Your effective bard level for these purposes is twice the number of these abilities you already possess or your class level, whichever is lower.
- You can gain Deadly Performance as an alternate capstone if you have the Dirge of Doom and Frightening Tune bardic performances.
