Augment
Augment feats, formerly "metamagic" in previous editions, are always tier 1 or greater. As a swift action, you can apply an augment feat to your next action allowing you to apply it's effects to the next feat or spell you activate before the end of your next turn. The augment's tier is added to the effected feat or spell's tier for determining it's total tier for MP cost, DCs, and counteracting. You cannot apply the augment to a feat or spell if it would increase the tier above your normal maximum of half your character level (rounded up).
