Your body goes limp and unconscious while your soul separates from it and takes an incorporeal form on the astral plane. Your incorporeal form has a fly speed equal to your base speed but can otherwise use all your normal gear and abilities, consuming charges from your gear as if wielding it. If gear is broken or separated from from either form, it becomes inaccessible to the other as thr connection is severed. Any damage or conditions suffered by your incorporeal form applies to your physical body as a psychosomatic effect dealing mental damage instead of physical damage. If your incorporeal form is reduced to 0 or less hit points,this effect ends and your soul returns to your body. If your body is killed while astral projecting, your soul remains stranded where it is rather than going to its normal hereafter destination and this effect ends.
Your incorporeal form has Teleportation and Plane Shift as innate powers with tiers equal to half this power's tier (rounded down) and can only affect yourself and can travel to any plane you've visited before.
Safe Projection (+1): You can dismiss the effect as a reaction. If you apply this upgrade a second time, your body takes all lethal damage dealt to your astral form as nonlethal damage.
