Apu



The Apu are a loosely affiliated group of deities from across the Western Ocean. Their influence is only loosely known due to explorers and travelers who claim to have discovered a second world merely by sailing the sea, though such claims are not confirmed. The Apu were originally Kami from the West who decided the best way to protect their charges was to consolidate power through the worship of mortals. Though they struggled for supremacy, eventually only a few ruled over their territory, forming a pantheon of their own.
