Alchemist



All alchemist class features have been converted to feats and powers. Alchemist features that require an attack roll, saving throw to resist, provides healing, or have limited uses per encounter, day, or week, is considered a "power". Features that alter or enhance powers are also considered upgrades to those powers. The rest of their features are feats.

Casting Modifier: Intelligence

Class DC: 10 + level + Intelligence modifier



CLASS FEATS


Alchemical Extracts: Alchemical extracts are powers that require focus, material, and somatic components.

Alchemy: Replaced bonus to Craft (Alchemy) with Skill Focus and Skill Training feats for Craft (Alchemy). Replace Extracts with Alchemical spells.

Bombs: Replaced will Craft Alchemical Items feat. Any discoveries you gain that adjust your bombs, can adjust any alchemical grenade you make.

Mutagen: You can make potions that only work for certain creature types or certain individuals as you choose upon crafting them. You can also make them only work under certain conditions, times, or locations. This is a +1 augment you can apply to any potion you make.

Brew Potion: As the feat.

Throw Anything: As the feat.

Discovery: This is a feat with Intelligence and Crafting as its prerequisites. Each time you take it, you gain a new Alchemist Discovery of your choice as if your alchemist level were equal to the tier you already have in Discovery +2.

Persistent Mutagen (Su): Functions as Extend Power but you can apply it to all your potions instead.

Poison Resistance (Su): You gain resistance to Poison effects.

Poison Use: As the feat by the same name.

Swift Alchemy (Ex): Prerequisites are Skill Training (Crafting), Skill Focus (Crafting), Brew Potion, and Poison Use. It takes you half the normal amount of time to create alchemical items, and you can apply poison or oil to a weapon as a move action.

Swift Poisoning (Ex): Prerequisites are Skill Training (Crafting), Skill Focus (Crafting), Brew Potion, Poison Use, Swift Alchemy. You can apply poison or oil to a weapon as a swift action.

Improved Poison Resistance: Prerequisites are Poison Resistance. You gain greater resistance against poison.


Greater Poison Resistance: Prerequisites are Poison Resistance and Improved Poison Resistance. You gain resistance against poison.


Instant Alchemy (Ex): Prerequisites are Skill Training (Crafting), Skill Focus (Crafting), Brew Potion, Poison Use, Swift Alchemy, Swift Poisoning. You can create any alchemical item as a full-round action if you succeeds at the Crafting DC + 20 and have the appropriate resources at hand to fund the creation. You can apply a poison or oil to a weapon as an reaction.


Grand Discovery: You gain a Grand Discovery provided you are 20th level, have 20 ranks in Craft (Alchemy), and meet any other prerequisites of the Grand Discovery.
