Agathion
n agathion is a spirit which is strongest at midday and weakest at midnight, in opposition to shadow spirits. They can take the appearance of a humanoid, beast, or cryptid. When summoned as an eidolon or familiar, they are often bound to a specific item such as a talisman, bottle, or magic ring in which they reside. Destroying the item returns them back to their home plane as if by banishment.
Spirit Bound (1 XP): Agathion cannot enter a foreign plane without being bound to some item. They cannot move more than 1 mile away from it. If forcibly moved beyond this threshold, or if the item is destroyed, the agathion is banished back to their home plane as if by a Banishment effect with a tier equal to the same tier as the effect that forcibly moved them (or half the level of the creature or item that did so if there is no effect).
Sun Strength (1 XP): During the day, an agathion has a +1 morale bonus to all rolls and DCs. This increases to +2 during midday for about an hour. Conversely, they suffer a -1 penalty to all rolls and DCs at night, worsening to -2 during for about an hour during the middle of the night. For 1 minute exactly 30 seconds before and 30 seconds after midnight and highnoon, these modifiers adjust to +3/-3 respectively.
