Wilhelms Wagons

Wilhelm is Narwell's wainwright. His shop, marked by a post with a wagon wheel hanging from it is on the east side of town, one block south of the marketplace.  It is a two story building framed of timber with a thatch roof with a stone lower and wattle and daub upper. The downstairs shop has arched openings with wooden shutters, a sawdust and wood chip floor and is strewn with partially completed wagon components and tools of the trade. Two large dogs wander the premises. The yard in back is delineated with a 3' wall of stacked field stone. The yard has a wagon and two carts that look complete and are for sale. A pile of new timber is held off the ground in a frame, along with a pile of discards piled with the firewood. There is also a corral where a limited number of draft animals can be kept while their wagons are being repaired.

Wilhelm is a half-elf who favors his human side. His two sons Petr and Geoff, both human adults, act as his apprentices. His human wife, whom some might mistake for his mother at a first glance tends to the animals and keeps a small garden in the yard.

The shop repairs anything that rolls and constructs all manner of wagons and carts from push carts for the market to heavy timber carts for transporting logs from the forest to the town.

Wilhelm looks to be just shy of middle age, is slightly shorter than average with light brown hair and a pointed goatee. He wears work clothes including a leather apron. His son's are taller and heavier than he with full beards.

He is honest and his prices are fair, except that he is not fond of orc-kin or their like and so charges them 20% more and will not barter or bargain with them.
