The Broken Thimble
Along Marsh Street, some of the buildings can be seen for smaller occupants and one of them, with a sign bearing a thimble that looked like a cracked bell was noticed by the group. In the center a workshop staffed by halflings, on one side small fitting room, and on the other side, a larger human sized fitting room with a series of steps for the staff to take measurements. A halfling that was working on a dress looked up as the group approached and put his work down. "Welcome to the Broken Thimble! I am Master Milo Underhill, how may I be of service?" he asked, scanning the group for damaged clothing, and a masters eye for sizes.
"Good day, we are here on behalf of the Nightwatchmen's Guild." the leader of the group said, showing the halfling their letter of introduction. "Sergeant Erkennis has asked us to collect the Pelor's Day gifts for the children."
With a smile, Milo turned to one of his apprentices and spoke to them with a fatherly voice "Timric, go get the project I assigned you." the halfing said. While the apprentice went to get it, he engaged the group on small talk to see if there was any repairs or work to be commissioned. Returning with a small bundle, Timric handed it to his master. Taking the package, he opened it and inspected it, a 2 foot long grey cloak with a wooden toggle to secure it was seen by the group. With a final nod, Master Milo was satisfied that it was worthy. Handing it back to Timric, the apprentice wrapped it up once again and presented it to the group. "May this help keep a child warm." he said in a solemn voice.
