The Sleeping Dog Inn & Tavern

Proprietor: Abram Goodfellow

A shingle hanging above the door painted with large dog sleeping in front of a fireplace proclaims this long two story building the 'Sleeping Dog Inn'.  A large fireplace dominates the common room and a dog (or two) can frequently be found sleeping near the fire.  Several long tables and benches line the main floor with a bar and door to the kitchen & servant's quarters on one side.

On the other, a hall leads back to a dormitory (that can sleep 20 at a silver noble a night) and the stairs leading up to a balcony overlooking the main floor and six private rooms (five of which may be rented for a gold orb a night).  The Innkeeper does not tolerate 'troublemakers' and given the size of the man and his dogs it is an unwise patron that crosses him or his small staff.

Wandering the streets of Narwell, Ageon finally finds a place that both has room (considering the upcoming festival) and suits his needs.  The clientele looked a little rough around the edges but he strand of old bells nailed to the side of the building and location of the inn told him that the patrons were teamsters and caravan guards.  Folk that didn't have time for nonsense and just wanted a place for a quiet drink and warm bed for the night.

A large black haired man presiding over the bar raised one eyebrow as he appraised the approaching elf, "What do you need?"

Ageon kept it simple, "A bunk, small beer, and bowl of stew with bread."

"Silver for the bunk in the back and another noble and two commons for the rest," he replied, "Up front."

Ageon pass the coins over and they disappeared in the man's paw as he deposited them in a pocket under his publican's apron.

"Lena will bring your food out shortly," he said as he handed Ageon a pint and the elf took his place on the bench.
