Dew Drop Inn
Wilfred happened upon an inn with a nice tavern portion on the main street, just outside the main business area named the Dew Drop Inn. The proprietor was a half-elven lady named Farora. She was nice looking, if a bit older. She seemed overworked, but still had a pleasant smile.
The inn itself was well maintained, if a bit old. The smells were nice, for a tavern, a mix of different drinks and a nice deer stew cooking in the background. There were not too many patrons this time of day. There seemed to be rooms on a second floor.
Wilfred approached and said, "Hello. I am Wilfred Wildemount, travelling entertainer. I am looking for a place to lodge and eat, but am looking for a trade-in-kind. I would provide entertainment when I am available and you would hold a room for me and feed me when I am in town. I know that might sound a bit over the top, but I know that I am available for the next 5 days and can perform in the afternoons and evenings. Does this sound like an arrangement you can work with?"
The Dew Drop inn is good sized tavern, but it is very homey. The clientele is mostly locals with some out of town traffic. There are 4 or 5 barmaids roaming the floor in the evenings and the proprietress, Farora, keeps the mood light. While the building isn't new, it is well maintained. There are 2 floors and the exterior looks like it had been updated in the last year. The door is in the northeast side and the bar is on the southeast side of the tavern section. There was a small stage opposite the door, with tables set up to be able to choose to watch the entertainment or ignore it. A lot of the tables were the community type, where locals or traveling groups could gather, but there were also a number of smaller tables for more intimate settings. The stairs are on the west side with a bar and a kitchen behind it to the south. There is a storage room behind the kitchen as well as rooms for Farora. There were 15 rooms upstairs and all were kept clean. A stable is located off of to the left of the front door, big enough for 8 horses.
