Amys Warehouse
The unusual band of folk approached one of the many addresses on Sergeant Erkennis' list. Amy's Warehouse was on Garden Road (H7, map 8) It was a large building which was surrounded by shipping containers, carts and wagons. There was a barn in the back with draft horses. It seemed near enough to the Cargo gate to be of use to both incoming and outgoing ships.
Treakle was elected to knock on the door of the large building. He was greeted by a relatively young elven woman.
"Hello ma'am, I am here on behalf of the Nightwatchmen's Guild." He shows the woman their letter of introduction. "Sergeant Erkennis has asked us to collect the Pelor's Day gifts for the children."
"Seems strange that the good Sergeant would seen dwarves here," She says. At his nervousness, she just laughes. Come on in, everyone is welcome here.
The building was stocked from floor to ceiling with wares, mostly in containers of some sort. Some of the containers were as large as a dwarven home in his hometown.
"Give me a moment, Mr. Dwarf."
He replies, "Call me Treakle, please."
"Fine, Mr. Treakle. I won't be a moment." The woman disappears inside the office on the left side of the doorway.
A few minutes later Amy returns with a bag that was closed. She says, "a real surprise for the youngsters this year. I think the Guild will be well pleased."
Treakle replied, "Yes ma'am. Than you very much. If anyone asks, can I tell them what is in there?"
She just shakes her head and says, "only if you can see through the packaging," and laughs.
Treakle says, thank you then, and turns to leave.
