Addit Inn
Proprietor: Jillian (great great granddaughter of William Addison, founder)
Jillian is a spinster who grew up in the inn. At its heyday, it would see traveling clerks stopping here. Now newer inns get that custom. The 6 rooms are currently rented on a more boarding house style to single young men employed in Clerkburg.
Jillian makes 1 meal for each mealtime; there is no menu. You take what she made or go elsewhere. Boarders get breakfast and supper as part of their rent. Anyone that comes for lunch has to pay (All meals are "plain fare"). Beer is always on hand; other drinks require a day's advanced notice, though she usually serves wine for her boys' birthdays. There's always enough for anyone who wanders into the dining area and the rates are standard.
There was a revolving list of would be boarders. As one would get married and move out, another farm-child-turned-counter would move in. Jillian has stated she will not be taking on new boarders from now on. She hints that she is afraid she won't be around to take care of any new ones. But for now, she is the second mother her boys needed when they got to the big city, even if they are paying for the service.
