There are two races of Elves within the world.  The Elves of the Labyrinth island located in the Northern Ocean are nature loving.  They were created by Siren and blessed by Xanaria.  These Elves have a relationship with the jungle of the island and with the labyrinth.  Their first contact with humans is with the crew of the Griffon.

The second race of Elves are of ice and darkness, warriors sworn.  These exist in the south, hailing from the snowy tundra and find themselves best suited for a role of vikings and pirates.  These Elves are called the Nyss and only emerge at night.  The Elves have dark midnight blue eyes and lips that only serves to highlight pale skin and a light blue tinge to their hair.
