Cauldron Weaver
Size:  Large horse
Terrain:  Cold regions populated by humans (the spiders will migrate if it becomes too warm).
Lairs:  The spiders like abandoned buildings but will nest in tall trees if none are available.
Colony sizes:  Weavers are solitary, but may congregate in larger numbers if sufficient ruins exist and they have enough 'work' to do.
Origin:  Created by Charista
Method of Repopulating:  If a spider dies of old age in it's web, there is a chance it can become a Cauldron Weaver.  Alternatively, if an existing Cauldron Weaver feels overworked, it can make itself another Weaver by dropping dead spider carapaces and animal bones into it's cauldron.  The new Weaver takes a few months to be crafted.
Dominion:  As undead creatures they can be controlled by Charista, but Mother and Croneture can also influence them.
Description:  Cauldron Weavers look like a Redback spider with long bone-like legs, a white colored torso with red or black stripes/spots (patterns may vary over time), and a small head.  They emit a pleasant mint odor.
Purpose:  Cauldron Weavers harvest natural material to make and distribute 'blankets' to cold humans.
Behavior:  They are shy and run away from danger, only fighting if cornered or if someone messes with their cauldron.
Crafting:  Weavers construct themselves a container (aka a cauldron), fill it with their ichor, and mix in whatever they can find (hair, plant matter, corpses, etc).  The tarry mixture breaks down materials, causing hair strands to clump together and float to the top... for later weaving.  Bone fragments are sharpened into pins or used to create another Weaver.  Things that cannot break down are thrown away soon after... or used to decorate it's lair.
Folklore options:  Superstitions may spring up around the blankets and their cauldrons.
