I, Penumbrus, record faithfully such events and facts of Mnethis as I observe.

I find it difficult to speak of my creator and master.  Mnethis had formed me in the world and gave me purpose.  The Master of Memory's more recent activities include the Encyclopods, aiding Croneture subtlely with spice, and releasing The Firstborn’s Eternal Echo upon the world.  The Invoker of Glass in all their mystery remains preoccupied with the archives.
