Free Starting Feats at 1st level: Pick 6 of the following of your choice:
- Armor Proficiency: You become proficient with light armor. If you take this a 2nd time, you become proficient with medium armor. If you take it a third time you become proficient with heavy armor. You must have a Str modifier of +0 or better for light armor, +2 or better for medium armor, and +4 or better for heavy armor.
Canny Defense: While unarmored and not using a shield, off-guard, or slowed, you add your highest mental attribute as a competence, insight, luck, profane, or sacred bonus to your Dodge defense and Reflex saving throws (your choice of the bonus type). This cannot be taken more than once and replaces all other effects that normally allowed you to add an attribute modifier to your AC or Dexterity modifier.
Shield Proficiency: You become proficient with bucklers. If you're proficient with light armor, you also become proficient with light shields. If you're proficient with medium armor, you also become proficient with heavy shields. If you're proficient with heavy armor, you also become proficient with tower shields.
Weapon Focus: Choose one fighter weapon group you are proficient with. You gain Weapon Focus for that entire group.
Weapon Proficiency: The first time you gain this feat, you become proficient with simple weapons and one fighter weapon group of your choice. Thereafter, each time you take this feat you select a number of fighter weapon groups equal to 2 + (the number of times you've already taken this feat) and become proficient with all weapons in this groups.
