ATTRIBUTE SCORES
You begin with points to buy your character's race based on Race Point (RP) value. Remaining points are spent on attribute scores as attribute points. See the Playable Races article for more information on races.

ATTRIBUTE ADJUSTMENTS
You get your starting scores from point buy, racial adjustments, size adjustments to your attribute scores, and increases from level advancement. All other bonuses, penalties, damage, and drain to attribute scores no longer exist in the game and are replaced by other buffs and conditions. See the Conditions article for more information on conditions.

Size Adjustments: All size adjustments to attribute scores are replaced with a +2 size adjustment to your Strength score and a -2 size adjustment to your Dexterity score for every size larger than medium that you are and vice versa for every size smaller.

ATTRIBUTE ADVANCEMENT
Instead of +1 to one score at every 4th level, you get +1 to four scores at 5th, 15th, and 25th level and +1 to all scores at 10th, 20th, and 30th level.

ATTRIBUTE DAMAGE/DRAIN
Attribute damage/drain affect hit points instead of attribute scores. Attribute damage is nonlethal and attribute drain is lethal. Such effects also cause a target to make a saving throw or become Clumsy, Demoralized, Distraught, Drained, Stupefied, and/or Weakened 1 stage worse than they currently are depending on which attribute the damage/drain originally affected. If already at stage 4, additional worsening makes them +1 Staggered instead.

MISSING ATTRIBUTE SCORES
You must have a score of 5+ in ALL attribute scores in order to be a player character. All creatures have a minimum attribute score of 1 for all attribute scores (Str, Con, Dex, Int, Wis, Cha). Constructs & Undead lose bonus HP from size and Charisma and gain a Constitution score equal to: 3/4 Str Score + 1/4 highest mental attribute score (rounded down) while incorporeal creatures can still physically interact with other incorporeal creatures and objects. They still retain their immunities and other special abilities and traits.

Example 1 (Iron Golem): Reduce hit dice from 18 to 13, lose hit points from size, gain Con score equal to 3/4 (32 Str) + 1/4 (11 Wis) = 26 Con (+8 modifier). This gives it 13d10 (130) + 13*8 (104) = 234 hit points.

Example 2 (Lich): Change CR from 12 to 10 (11 PC class of wizard * 3/4 = 8.25, +2 Lich template = 10). Give Con score equal to 3/4 (Str 10) + 1/4 (Int 22)=  7.5+5.5= 13 Constitution. Replace +55 HP from Cha with +11 Con mod and +15 from false life for a total of 81 hp.

Example 3 (Vampire): Change CR from 9 to 8 (8 PC class of sorcerer * 3/4 = 6, +2 Vampire template = 8). Give Con score equal to 3/4 (Str 16) + 1/4 (Cha 26)=  12+6.5= 18 Constitution. Replace +72 HP from Cha & favored with +32 Con mod and +8 from favored class for a total of 48+40= 88 hp.
