Zion

 The newest settlement in the area, Zion is small but growing. Another group of settlers from “back East” is expected in the near future, with an accompanying boost in the town’s size. There are 10 buildings, mostly new, comprising the town.

  Zion was not a town built to service the needs of travellers through the county.  This was a religious enclave, as was apparent by the brand new church in pride of place at the end of Main street that no doubt also served as a school house during the week.
  There was no saloon, gambling hall or bawdy house nor a house of ill-repute.  A post office, a general store, a blacksmith, a stable, a sheriff and a few houses accounted for just about every visible building in town.
