Schmidts Boarding House

Schmidt's is a large two-story house made of finished lumber.  An overhanging porch lies in front, a set of stairs in back.  The Schmidt's two bedrooms, dining room and kitchen are on the first floor.  Six bedrooms are on the second floor, five of which are occupied.

Hans Schmidt is a thin, friendly man who has a bushy moustache.  His wife Gertrude Schmidt is a large woman who is also cook, maid and general manager of the boarding house.  They have a blonde boy of 11, their son Hans.  The youngest of the family is daughter Kristy, age 8.

Mabel Logan also works here helping with chores.

A room and two meals costs 60 cents per day.
