The Timberwrights' Guild was a large and powerful craftsmen's guild in Lokren. Prior to the Red Mist, the guild held a monopoly on all commercial logging within the empire. Timber rights were held by most fiefholders and landlords, meaning they were free to cut lumber for their own personal use or that of their tenants. However, if lumber was to be sold for commercial uses such as the building of ships, bridges, and the like, the guild had the sole right to supply such lumber. The guild was particularly potent in the Forest of Piges where they operated the Hyloton Logging Camp, creating enormous volumes of lumber for shipment back east. Their efforts in Piges were crucial to the rapid settlement of Thesion during the Age of Conquest.

Since the Red Mist it is likely that the guild has effectively ceased to exist and that their monopoly on the supply of lumber is no longer enforceable, allowing enterprising free traders to enter the market - assuming there is demand to be found anywhere anymore.
