The Lokrenian Empire consists of six provinces, of which two comprise the Old Kingdom, and another two the frontier lands. The remaining two contain extensive arable land and timber wilds in the middle of the empire.

Each province has its own noble lord and sends tribunes to the Symbol. Most provinces are ruled by a duke, but the Forest of Piges and Chasadon are overseen by earls.

Each province contains one or more earldoms (or is a free-standing earldom itself, answerable only to the king), and most have a number of baronies, as well as dozens of manorial estates ruled by landed knights.
