Pioligo (IPA: /piːˈɒlɪgəʊ/) is a petty kingdom of eastern Epiros. A former Anatian colony and ex-member of the Vasilian Confederation, Pioligo occupies the Livadi Peninsula and is centred around the Proviadrys River. Until recently, Pioligo controlled the fertile Proviadrys Valley as far north as Koniak Falls, but defeat after a long war has seen their northern province recently annexed by Anvero, significantly weakening Pioligo's economy and giving Anvero direct access to the Sea of Stars without the need to pass through the Togamou Channel.

Despite its relative power and great wealth, gained from controlling the majority of sea-trade from Anatios, Notios, and other parts of Epiros, Pioligo's aggressive stance has seen it constantly embroiled in conflict with Anvero and the major regional powers of Lantaren and Lokren, the latter of which remains in a de jure state of war after serious naval hostilities nearly forty years ago that were never resolved or officially concluded. The nation maintains a close alliance with Elsavet, however, which has led to a significant volume of strife with the other kingdoms on Epipida Bay. The need for a massive standing army near the capital and, more importantly, an enormous navy to guard its long coastline, have caused the affluent nation to all but bankrupt itself in the war against Anvero. The fear of a secondary assault from Lantaren or Lokren is believed to have been one of the major driving factors behind their defeat at the hands of the Anverians, with the government unwilling to commit too much of their force northward lest the capital be left exposed.
