The Frezderi Basin (IPA: /fɹɛzˈdɛəɹiː/) is an area of the Lofos Hills in the western Forest of Piges, making up most of the barony of Raxilon. Carved out by the course of the Kluda River, the Basin is a broad area of cleared agricultural land, dotted with tiny mining villages around its perimeter at the base of the surrounding hills. The basin opens up close to Raxilon, where the Kluda discharges from the Magodolofon Gorge, and covers a broad, roughly circular area, surrounded by the high ridges of the Lofos Hills. The basin narrows towards the west, where the Kluda cuts through the Alliplevra Gorge, and the inhabited areas there are at much greater altitude, set on the higher slopes overlooking the deep ravines where the river escapes the hills.
