Erastes Pass (IPA: /əˈɹæstiːz/) is a mountain pass that connects Lokren and Elsavet. Situated in Kormunko between the Lutrosi Mountains and the Anotempi River, the pass consists of a narrow ledge high on a sheer cliff. The constricted geography and difficult location of the pass, as well as the often-inclement weather conditions at its high elevation, have frustrated Lokrenian attempts to invade and conquer Elsavet. Both nations maintain significant border outposts in the pass and skirmishes are not uncommon, though neither side has any real interest in trying to invade the other anymore, knowing it to be a fool's errand.

It has been said that a lone warrior with a halberd could hold the pass against an army of a million men. Obviously, this is complete nonsense, but the truth is not so far removed from this hyperbolic drivel as one might be tempted to think.
