Lowlands, rolling hills, traditional monarchies, ghost forests where the marshes have flooded and so much drizzle and rain and water. The rain has been going on for years, ruining crops and much of Deiga's exports, leading to mud slides and structural damages in some of Deiga's main cities. Deiga was getting uppity. Now Deiga is having bad luck. There may be dissent simmering here. Deiga, although not principally a Shadow known for its Seafarers, is reputed to be turning more and more to piracy in order to get supplies its people need.
