The current monarch is the very old (and reputedly somewhat mad) Georges Justinian Victory Carloman Begmanthe-Acor of the Royal House Carloman of Begma. Begman names tend to be long and grand. Begman nicknames tend to be some commonday thing or object - Bird, Coral, Quartz, Thimble, etc. Begma and Amber have been hand in glove for a long time, and Begma might claim the distinction of First Shadow (still extant) added to the Golden Circle.
