Summary
Sessions 1-4

Having long worn the Carnage symbiote following his disappearance in the middle of the Superhuman Civil War, Daredevil reappears one night in Clinton Church. With help from Father Paul Lantom, and the nearby heroes Cloak and Dagger, Daredevil exorcises the symbiote from his body. During Daredevil's struggle with the symbiote, his face is revealed to Cloak and Dagger.

Mayor Norman Osborn, wearing the Iron Patriot armor, arrives to arrest Daredevil but finds the vigilante has disappeared. The mayor witnesses Cloak sending the Carnage symbiote into the Darkforce Dimension, and fails to obtain it despite his attempts to blackmail the young heroes. Desiring the symbiote for his own ends, Osborn begins searching for a way to retrieve it from its other-dimensional prison. Having outlawed superhero activity in NYC following the events of the Infinity War, Osborn renews his active crusade against the remaining superheroes in NYC.

A week later, Mayor Osborn comes upon Hawkeye coming to the aid of a store owner as he is being robbed. Though Osborn intends to use force to bring Hawkeye under arrest, the vigilante instead willingly turns himself in. Hawkeye meets with Tigra, his former partner in the Avengers, who has recently returned to police work. With help from her and the recently-returned Daredevil, Hawkeye successfully outmaneuvers Osborn using the law, and his acquittal publicly embarrasses the mayor. Privately, Osborn vows revenge.

Weeks later, Osborn delivers the Carnage symbiote to Cletus Kasady inside Ravencroft Asylum. The serial killer escapes his confines, slaughtering many of his guards in the process. Hearing the approval of another inmate, Shriek, Kasady sets the woman free and together they escape. The two begin a killing spree across NYC, soon joined by other villains like Carrion, Demogoblin, and the Spider-Man Doppelganger. After Shriek uses her hypersonic powers to agitate crowds of civilians into frenzied riots, she and Carnage find themselves the subject of the Secret Avenger's attention. They battle Tigra and Dagger, with Shriek banished to the Arctic Circle by Tigra's magic. Carnage uses the distraction to disappear, coating a civilian in his symbiote to use as a body double while he escapes.

Hours later, Tigra travels to the Arctic Circle to check on Shriek, but finds the villainess is gone. She follows a trail of footprints leading away from the location which abruptly end, indicating the work of a teleporter. Before she can decide her next move, Tigra is attacked by Dormammu, who warns her that a sea of darkness will soon swallow up her city. The demon offers Tigra his power in exchange for one of her two souls. Tigra promises to consider the demon's offer before he releases her and she is returned to the city.

Carnage is rejoined by Shriek after she reappears in the city. Kasady instructs the woman to use her powers to continue starting riots all around the city as they ambush and capture several heroes across NYC. The fallen heroes are imprisoned in a makeshift jail aboard a semi-truck Kasady dubs the "Carnage-Mobile" before being transported to the villains' lair. Several heroes battle against Carnage and Shriek, although they are divided in their approach to bringing down Kasady. Spider-Man, Dagger, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage want to use non-lethal methods to subdue the villains. However, the vote results in a draw when Venom rallies several other vigilantes to his side: Cloak, Morbius, and Winter Soldier. Though Tigra sympathizes with Spider-Man's plight, she abstains from voting, feeling her duties to the position of Sorcerer Supreme demand that she remain impartial. Luke Cage changes his position after a brush with Shriek causes him to go berserk, endangering his wife and child, and Venom's side wins the vote.

Kasady raids the Life Foundation building for symbiotes to bond to his rioters, determined to turn all of NYC into "one big happy family." There, Carnage is attacked by Venom, but he manages to defeat and capture Brock with the help of Shriek and Demogoblin, imprisoning the vigilante in the Carnage-Mobile after Carrion strips him of his Venom symbiote. Hawkeye, Cloak, and Dagger are also imprisoned when they attack Kasady.

Continued via RPoL Campaign
Hours into a renewed rampage, Carnage is attacked by Domino, who has been contracted to kill Cletus Kasady. Although Carnage takes a hostage, the mercenary is undeterred, and manages to shoot Kasady several times. Shriek battles with the reappeared Daredevil after he causes her to crash the Carnage-Mobile, with the villainess dealing a severe blow to Iron Fist as he comes to the blind vigilante's aid. Both Iron Fist and Luke Cage help give cover to the other heroes, fending off several rioters in the area, but they are soon carried off by several symbiote-bonded rioters who emerge from nearby. When Tigra appears again to subdue Carnage and Shriek, the killers flee, not wanting to deal with the mighty Sorceress Supreme again. Daredevil and Spider-Man deal with the arrival of several more symbiote-bonded rioters led by Carrion, who takes Spider-Man prisoner after threatening to kill a hostage. Daredevil pursues his ally, who is locked in the back of the Carnage-Mobile along with Venom.

Elsewhere, Domino and Tigra battle Demogoblin, who has been given command of a few symbiote-bonded rioters. With Moon Knight's assistance, the heroines fight Demogoblin to a near-stalemate. However, Tigra is struck by the villain's black pumpkin bomb, which paralyzes her and leaves her to be carried away on the villain's glider. She is soon let go, however, when Demogoblin comes across several innocent children who are in need of protection from the ongoing riots. Demogoblin entrusts Tigra to care for them, disappearing to rejoin his allies elsewhere.

Meanwhile, Carnage and Shriek head to a makeshift lair their followers have overtaken with the help of the Bushman, another villain they are allied with. When Moon Knight radios his partner Frenchie for aid, he discovers that the base has fallen to their enemies. Moon Knight returns to his lair with Domino, promising to reward the mercenary with any weapons and ammo of her choosing if she helps him save his friend. When they arrive, they find the alarm systems have been reprogrammed and there are signs of forced entry. The pair are attacked by several loose symbiotes, which causes them to become separated. Domino is approached by Deadpool, who has trailed the pair to the location. Deadpool attempts to talk Domino out of pursuing the bounty on Carnage, wanting the money for himself.

Meanwhile, Moon Knight is trapped inside a freight elevator that has gotten stuck between floors. Seeking vengeance against Moon Knight, the Bushman ambushes his foe, tossing a grenade into the elevator.
