During the Battle of Plaza del Lobo the sheriff comes out of this building still wearing his holstered pistol.  The weapon loaded with another 24 rounds in his holster belt.

  The same building houses the sheriff's office with jail cells on one side and the courthouse on the other side.  There is nobody inside the building.
  On the wall of the sheriff's office is a gun rack holding four rifles, a chain running through the trigger guards of each rifle is still locked to steel plates bolted to the brick walls.  Both jail cell doors stand open.

  A search of the sheriff's office finds nothing more than an empty six shooter behind the sheriff's desk and one of the desk drawers us also locked.
