A tall, thin, and gaunt man of decent looks. Beyond his height and his above average features nothing else is particularly memorable about him.

That Bartholomew is generally considered a recluse and something of a scholar. Some folks may question the avenues of his research, but as he doesn't flaunt anything all there is to go on is hearsay.
