Path of the Blade Races
Men
The following races are optional subtypes of the Pathfinder-standard Human. You may choose to play a Human of any of the below ethnicities, but the races listed below represent paragons of those cultures.

Mer
Technically, all of the Mer races are varieties of elf, and are all distantly related (some more distantly than others). Their proper, elven name is given below, with their "common" name in parentheses. Unlike Men, Mer characters cannot default to the Pathfinder-standard Elf.

Beast Races
There are two "beast" races in Tamriel, named so because of their resemblance to lesser creatures. They are persecuted and legally enslaved in Morrowind, though free members of these races have equal rights to Men and Mer by Imperial law.
