LOOK: Eyes sparkle with laughter, particularly when fighting. Long hair braided and swept back out of his face. Often has a smirk on his face. Loose, easy to move in cargo pants with either a tank top or no shirt. Armor painted deep red in a pattern to look like scale mail and covered in ancient Nordic runes in bronze. Helmet has a pair of down-turned horns added to the sides that sweep toward his chin.

"Subject: Prisoner 52769-b, human, male. Age 28. Name Erick Boudabras, aliases Erick the Bear.
Says here in these files that you were born to a pair of human parents aboard a no name junk freighter in the Mol Sara system, and then flitted around learning the trade from them until they both died under mysterious circumstances, that sound about right to you?"
"If you say so officer, I'm sure whatever you have in there is correct."
HISTORY:
"Let's see here. After their deaths we have you listed on the rosters of over a dozen different gangs on a dozen different worlds. Regular soldier of fortune type ehh? Then you drop out of sight for a few years before returning with some real high end teammates. Rumors have placed you as working for the Shadow Broker, care to comment"
"I don't know what you mean, I thought that Shadow Broker was a myth. At least that's what all the news waves keep saying."
"Don't get lippy with me redacted. There's a note here that states you started using biotic around the same time as your return but you weren't using any before."
"Well of course not, you ever price on of those L5n Implant, those things are ridiculously expensive."

"So tell me Erick, why do you follow this life of crime?
"I honestly don't know what you are talking about sir, I'm an innocent man. But is I was this criminal mastermind you keep talking about then I bet it would have to do with finding out why my parents were killed and who did it."
"I suppose that makes sense with some of these crimes but what about the fact that you have well over 100 different Disorderly Conduct charges?"
"Well you know, sometimes a guy's gotta blow off some steam."
"Alright then. One last question Erick, any significant other we need to put on file for you?"
"Why sir, I'm just not that kinda man. Besides what do you need that kind of information for anyway, you looking for a new job?"
"No redacted, we need to know you to send your personal effects to. This jail's too small to store your redacted for as long as your gonna be here."
"Oh well in that case you can just hold onto everything, I'm not gonna be here for long."
"Oh really, you planning on getting out early for good behavior?"
Loud buzzing and cracking sound is heard over the recording
"You silly bastard. The only reason I let you catch me is because it's so much easier to break out of a prison than break in."
A loud crash sounds followed by a twisting metallic snap and a sharp thud.
"Nice timing Cap'n. All the other prisoners are down the hall in a single cell. If you wanna send one of the boys to pick up our cargo while I grab my gear, we can blow this redacted station and get back to civilization. But before I do let me just rip this off the ....."
A couple of seconds of static follows before the recording turns off

Barrier: When you go into battle, you strengthen your biotic barrier. Roll +Cool. On a 10+, gain +2-barrier, on a 7-9, +1-barrier. This bonus lasts the entire battle, and refreshing your barrier will include the bonus. At any time during the battle you may purge the excess biotic energy. When you do so, select one character within close range per level of bonus barrier and inflict s-harm to them. This ends the move for the rest of the battle. Not compatible with Fortification or Tech Armor.
SPECIES MOVE: New kids on the block: Humans are new to the galactic stage and need to be constantly making friends and connections lest the other species turn on them. Grant +2 instead of +1 whenever you Aid Another.
Will to Power: You are exactly the sort of human that gives your species their current galactic reputation. At the beginning of the session, roll +Will. On a 10+, hold 2. On a 7-9, hold 1. At any time that session, spend your hold 1 for 1 to get an automatic 10+ on act under fire, intimidate, or seize by force.
CLASS MOVE - Biotic Charge: When you use Biotic Charge in battle, roll +Cool. On a hit, name a character on the scene, but outside your reach. You cross the distance between you before they have time to adjust or react. You create an opportunity that you may immediately follow up on. On a 10+, inflict s+2-harm. On a 7-9, inflict s-harm. On a miss, you still cross the distance but you do not create an opportunity and you suffer concentrated fire now. (If it’s before 9:00, now it’s 9:00)
CLASS MOVE:Nova: When you purge your barrier using Nova, roll +Cool. On a hit, you detonate in an area centered on you (s-harm +1harm per intact barrier rating, area). On a 10+, your position is secure for the moment. On a 7-9, your position is untenable. Extra barrier segments from the Barrier move count for extra Nova damage. No matter what, hit or miss, your biotic barrier is down.
PERSONAL MOVE: Wealth: You have developed extensive investments and agents whose job it is to keep you in credits. At the beginning of the session, roll the appropriate stat (see below) to see how your fortune is faring. On a 10+, you have surplus on hand for your needs. On a 7-9, you have surplus, but choose one want. On a miss, your investments are in want. The GM will choose one or more. The precise values of your surplus and want are determined by creating your investments below.
- You’ve invested in soldiers or mercenaries. Roll +Hard at the beginning of the session, surplus: 1-Resources, want: violent
- Your investments are compact and well administered. Remove one want.
- Your investments profit from violent conflict. Surplus: +1Resources, want: embattled
- Your investments are always working for you, or deeply concealed. Want: unreliable (Want removed)
CUSTOM MOVE: I Knew You Would Come: When you hope for help from someone you would trust with your life, roll +Hx. On a 10+, if its possible, they show up in time to save you and take +1 forward. On a 7-9 help arrives, but not who you were expecting. On a miss, they show up, but they don't help.
