The City of Talnoroduin, Sixth Age

While the city was once known as Iskbridge, most if not all who now live there have known it only by the name Talhamnoduin as the Drow called it, and while they wished to distance themselves from that too recent past, they chose a new name that was yet familiar enough, for it renaming it as Talnoroduin, the City on the Oroduin, for that is the name by which the river Isk itself is known, one of but few waterways that remained free from taint.

Whatever name it is known by, the city is now in a sorry state following the civil war that erupted shortly before the dawning of the new Age, with the population decimated in that conflict and many buildings burned and reduced to rubble as the Drow fled, if moreso seeking shelter away from the newly risen sun than by the efforts of those who rose up.  Still the survivors are optimistic, their spirits buoyed now they are freed from thraldom to Dinear and her Knights, since for the first time in centuries they have some hope for a better future as they begin the slow process of rebuilding.

With the downfall of the Silent One and her creatures, the people now look to Nathrum to guide them, reluctant as he is to take on that mantle, if for no better reason than he is a trusted lieutenant of Wulgreth who led them in the the uprising, and one of a few that survived the conflict.
