The Great Smith

Smiths hold a special fascination for the peoples of the Urthe as they are thought to have magical powers of charm and healing bestowed upon them by Giobhniu, the Great Smith. The ringing blows of His mighty hammer cause violent tremors and earthquakes around the Urthe, as he shapes the metal on his Anvil of the Heavens. And so too, He guides the hands of all Smiths, everywhere, that they might craft honestly and well.
Followers
The Hammers of Giobhniu are expected to watch over and protect both Smiths and Warriors alike. They often serve as Court Armorers or Smiths. They are also expected to oversee the feeding and healing of the faithful, especially warriors wounded in battle. Skilled metalworkers in their own right, they appreciate intricately worked jewellery and honest tools of trade as much as any finely crafted and beautiful but deadly weapon.
Dark Gods Ascendant
The constant warring of the Dark Gods' creatures have bereft Giobhniu of all joy in His making, as He sees His craftings corrupted into darkness and despair. Yet with Dunatis, He seeks to save and protect what little He can.
Aftermath
The Great Smith rejoices that the struggle has ended at last and now has turned all His might to the rebuilding of the Urthe.
