Blydenburg Lake, also known as 'Old Stump Lake' is located on 'Shelter Island' outside
of Rocky Point of the North Shore of Long Island. Its the best place to go camping,
swimming, fishing and rowing. Its also runs annual week long summer camps in the month
of August.
Blydenburg Lake Summer Camp
Encompassing 25 acres on the northwest shore of Shelter Island, Blydenburg Lake has
offered retreat opportunities, summer camp and environmental education for over 60 years.

Sleep Away Camp is one of the best ways for kids to be outdoors, be active, and learn
new skills while meeting new friends, having fun, and spending a whole week with other
children their age. In our 'general camps', each child will be cared for by a specialized
counselor who will act as a role model and to your camper.
