Cyberdrones

Cyberdrones are human computers. From birth they undergo genetic modifications to make them biologically compatable with modern technology. A cyberdrone can link into the interplanetary network at will without the need for any hardware to do so. They can upload and download data into their brains which have a capacity limited only by their own intellect. They can naturally understand binary and have eidetic memories. They can seamlessly connect to any device that has a wireless interface. Furthermore, they have a communications 'tail' that grows out of the base of their spine. This appendage can adapt to any IO interface and plug directly into it, allowing wired communication.

Cyberdrones can communicate with each other telepathically via their 'wireless' links.

There are drawbacks. Most cyberdrones are owned by the company that created them and so are effectively slaves. They can also be 'hacked' like any other computer system and are vulnerable to computer viruses.
