OBJECTIVE
To design a game, for a PbP Game World that can handle multiple players, in different towns, building up influence and territory, to some day face off against other factions. A World where your actions may somehow affect someone else in the game you've not encountered. A World where the Keepers work together and can support each other to keep the World ticking over.
Additional Goals
- The WFP, being the part of the game where the LCG elements really shine, is a particular aspect I'd like to see polished and workable.
- To merge the fun of the LCG (Call of Cthulhu, Netrunner, Magic, etc) with that of RPOL's features supporting awesome GMing and storytelling in a play-by-post format.
- Each player creates a faction. These factions have objectives.
- Each player creates two starting heroes. These heroes are out to achieve their faction's objectives.
- Factions may work together, or against each other, or in ignorance of each other.
- Keeper's role: narrate story; introduce NPCs and NPOs; introduce story sparks (goals for factions to strive for); resolve IC conflicts
