VF/B-9 SAR Beta Veritech Fighter
The VF/B-9 SAR betas was developed as a search and rescue mecha used to fly into the thickest of fire storms and retrieve the wounded and downed pilots. the pilot and medic sit in the modified pilots compartment. the pilot to the front and the medic who sits behind him. When the beta transforms to battloid mode the Medic is spun and is still able to get to the wounded. New retractable landing gears were added so the lower ramp could be accessed without those going in or out hitting their heads.
The removal of the sixteen shoulder missiles to make room for the new pressurize and life support system and center EU-14 Pulse Beam Cannon allowed the Mecha Engineers to replace the bomb bays with seats and evacuation beds. Two evac beds per side, the top one folds up for when troops are sitting. A specialty canopy can be pulled over the wounded soldier and compressed to maintain an independent life support unit for the prone individual. The lower seats/bed lifts up so that a cyclone folded up can slip into the floor egress and be locked down. Behind the seat a sliding panel opens up for life support systems and IV hook ups and monitors, along with Field medical kits to keep each of the patients alive.

Power System: thirty-six Protoculture cells. Alphas and Betas are also equipped with a small backup fusion generator which is only good for flight and VTOL activity and can only be used in jet mode for two hours. Use of fusion generator prevents transformation and the speed of the mecha is reduced by two thirds.
