Vistula Ferry
Located at Swibno, the ferry over the Vistula is one of the primary places to cross the Vistula these days, with many bridges having been destroyed in the war. The ferry was at one time piloted by Gustaw the Ferryman, though it is unknown if he is still its driver. The ferry itself is operated by a single engine on board, which pulls the barge-like vessel across the river via an attached, underwater cable. Depending on the needs of the people living on Sobieszewo Island, passengers can often wait more than a day or two for the ferry to make the crossing. Most passengers these days are traders and refugees, but occasionally military personnel make the crossing as well.
