This former US Army officer was a recently released prisoner of war went on to serve in the International Brigade as CO for 'Normandy Company'. Webb had assisted the Mad Dogs in the past and was proving to be a valuable ally before he was unfortunately killed in action on August 4th during a Soviet assault on his company positions in Gdansk.
