IC Description of Kazimierzewo

Just shy of the devastated city and the canal separating you from its piles of scorched concrete, is Kazimierzewo. Like Elblag, the village is seemingly uninhabited and largely ruined beyond recognition. As the partisans' horses trot down the main street, the irregular clip clop of beating hooves echos off the battered homes and piles of rubble. Their Polish mounts are alert, watching the alleys and shadows within the ruins, but confident in their travels. You sense that this is their turf and they'd know if threats lurked within. Behind the twin columns of horses, the Mad Dogs' parade of vehicles rumble through. The place is otherwise dead, without even any birds present. Here and there skeletal remains litter the ground amidst a sea of broken bricks and rubbish.

Fredyryk's band then turn their horses down a short side street, or perhaps a parking lot, it's not quite clear. What might have been a hotel is on the left, while a burned out service station and some gutted shops line the right hand side. A blue Volkswagen minibus is parked at the end, which serves as the rally point for the partisans. It's secluded here, leaving everyone safe from observation, making it a good enough spot to stop - at least until you get organized and your bearings back.
