Background:
On the way back from the mission to retrieve mortar shells, Chapter 12 - Northern Poland - Winter is Coming: September 23, 2000, the Mad Dogs took two prisoners. After questioning, one of them decided to leave - Dobromir Skala. The other however, was Czeslaw Kaczka who was offered a chance to stay with the Mad Dogs. He took the opportunity, and has remained on with the team ever since. During the initial outing to capture fuel from the Fuel Depot, he was injured in Przejazdowo, and spent the remainder of that mission back at Kaminski's Compound.
