Force Field

You surround a subject within 50 feet (which may be yourself) with a protective field of magical force that absorbs all damage that would otherwise affect its target. The force field lasts for one round. During that time, the subject is completely immune to damage, but also cannot move from the spot (the force field is immobile), make melee or ranged attacks, or give or receive any items. Spells and other effects that do not cause direct damage, such as Daze, Mana Drain, or Vulnerability Hex, still affect the subject normally, and spells pass out of the force field normally. You can extend the spell’s effect when you cast it by spending 5 MP per additional round you would like it to last.
